Welcome to Q3-Control
As quantum technologies transition from laboratory demonstrations to large-scale deployments, the demand for robust control electronics has reached a critical juncture. While developing more efficient Quantum Processing Units (QPUs) remains vital, a major bottleneck in achieving meaningful quantum computation is the integration with the classical infrastructure required to process data at scale.
Through a combination of invited talks, peer-reviewed contributed presentations, and an interactive panel discussion, the Q3-Control workshop gathers leaders across academia, industry, and national laboratories to provide a technical roadmap for next-generation quantum infrastructure.

Call for Contributed Talks
We are actively accepting submissions for contributed talks! This is a fantastic opportunity to present your latest research, engineering benchmarks, or systems frameworks to a highly focused audience of peers spanning the entire quantum-classical stack.
If you are working on the hardware, software, or architectural challenges of scaling quantum control, we encourage you to submit your abstract until 07/15/26.

Key Technical Objectives
Architectural Frameworks: Exploring Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based control platforms and modular RF/DC hardware:
● Real-Time QEC Integration: Connecting control electronics with high-performance backends for sub-logical cycle time feedback loops.
● Cross-Domain Engineering: Addressing specific engineering hurdles such as signal integrity and crosstalk mitigation for scaling QPUs.
● Hardware-Software Co-Design: Bridging the gap between room-temperature classical electronics and diverse cryogenic or vacuum qubit modalities.

This workshop is designed for experimental physicists, control engineers, and systems architects. It will be particularly beneficial for researchers in national laboratories and industrial settings working with quantum systems at scale.

Call for Papers & Full Submissions
In addition to presentation-only contributed talks, Q3-Control invites submissions of technical papers and extended abstracts focusing on the engineering and scaling of quantum control
stacks.
Accepted paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and included in the official IEEE QCE26 Proceedings.
Topics of Interest Include:
● FPGA-based pulse generation and processing pipelines
● Low-latency feedback loops for quantum error correction
● Cryogenic interfaces and modular RF/DC control hardware
● Crosstalk mitigation, routing, and signal integrity solutions
● Control frameworks for quantum sensing, computing and distributed networking
